About Jennifer Kieltyka

Jennifer was born and raised in the Kansas City area. She studied Italian Literature and Art History at the University of Kansas, then attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 1996. After receiving her massage therapy license, she worked in wellness centers, spas, and eventually her own private office.

Jennifer studied yoga in India and the USA, and  became a certified yoga teacher in 2001. She operated her yoga studio and school “Boulevard Yoga & Healing Arts” from 2007-2019.

Jennifer began her study of Visionary Craniosacral Work with Hugh Milne and The Milne Institute more than 25 years ago. This amazing opportunity included a special brain class with Dr. Benjamin Shield.

Jennifer’s craniosacral work has been a part of her massage therapy practice from the very beginning, helping relieve chronic pain specifically in the head and neck.

Her craniosacral work has helped people with headaches, vertigo, mouth and jaw trauma, traumatic brain injuries, concussions, and neurological diseases.

Jennifer finds her work with the brain most fascinating.  Like a meditation practice, working with a client’s brain is a journey.  It can be very delicate yet very strong, and as a visionary, quite beautiful.

Trauma in the brain presents itself in many ways, so the application of craniosacral work takes a lot of care and fine tuning, a very gentle touch with possibly a profound outcome.  It can be very exciting and very powerful.

Jennifer offers gratitude to all of her clients, massage and craniosacral, over the past 27 years, for allowing her the honor to hold their craniums and feel the journey of the brain.

Jennifer is married to Chris Powell, who has owned Missouri Acupuncture Services for 27 years. They have a daughter Katrina, two dogs, a tortoise and a hamster.

Jennifer loves her work, especially balanced with her yoga practice, walks in the park, relaxing with her family, laughing with her friends, and any amount of travel she can find.
